Used exclusively by the Emperor’s place in ancient China, wild cordyceps was hard to come by. Thanks to modern science, extremely high qualities of cultivated cordyceps are now available.
Cordyceps strengthens the Lungs and Kidneys and was traditionally used to strengthen the body after long term illness and exhaustion. It increases sperm production, increases blood productions and strengthens the Qi (or energy of the body.)
It is used in China for cancer and chronic renal failure. It calms the Shen, transforms phlegm and treats chronic cough and asthma.
Cordyceps can be added to reishi tea for a delicious beverage. Traditionally it was prepared with duck.
