This berry smoothie is how I start each morning. Packed with powerful antioxidants and spirulina for protein, this drink will give you energy, help you detox your liver and improve your brain performance.
Add in some coconut oil and maca for endurance and you have an energy filled breakfast drink that helps protect against cancer, and inflammation. The fiber helps with weight loss and also with protecing against heart disease

Superfood Ingredients
Raw Cacao
Rich in polphenols cacao reduces inflammation, lowers blood pressure, improves blood pressure and makes you feel good from the boosted seratonin, without the added sugar. High in magnesium, raw cacao is also great for your heart and helping to reduce stress.
Spirulina
Is an blue-green algae that contains every nutrient required by the human. A highly nutritious food, it contains 65% bioavailable protein – the highest known amount for any food. Useful for losing weight, cutting down on sugar craving and fine tuning the performance of your brain by balancing the right and left hemispheres.
Blueberries
Blueberries are high in antioxidants which help protect the brain from damage and also improves the memory. Low in the glyemic index, they can help regulate blood sugar. Similar to the acai berry, the anthocyanin antioxidants can help protect against cancer.
Acai Berries
The rich purple color in Acai gives it a very high ORAC rating, meaning that it is great in fighting free radicals. High in anthocyanins, powerful antioxidants that help lower cholesterol and protect the heart, acai berries will give you loads of energy, without any of the side effects of a sugar rush.
Ingredients
- 3 cups Fresh Cashew or Almond Milk
- 1 pouch frozen Acai
- 1 fresh peach or nectarine or frozen equivalent
- 1 tbsp Vitamineral Green or spirulina
- 1 tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
- 2 tbsp Hemp Seeds or neutral flavored wholefood protein powder
- 2 tbsp Chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp vanilla root powder (optional)
- 2 tsp Yacon Syrup (Can substitute maple syrup or honey)
Directions
Add all ingredients to a Vitamix blender and blend for 2-3 minutes until smooth
Variation
Substitute freshly juiced apple juice for Cashew/almond milk and delete the yacon syrup.
